MEET THE TEAM...

Jeff Staser - Principal
Jeff Staser has more than 33 years of experience in complex systems integration, telecommunications, policy development, contracting, and program know-how. Jeff’s “dynamic leadership, superior professional skills and untiring devotion to excellence” throughout a distinguished military career lead him to be selected as VP Civil Works (Western States), U.S. Corps of Engineers, prior to a 5-year stint on Capitol Hill. His subsequent appointment as founding CEO of the Denali Commission (Senior Executive Service) allowed Jeff, a fourth generation Alaskan, to return home and join the ranks of the Alaska Journal of Commerce’s “Top 25” most influential Alaskans. He founded the Staser Group in 2005 to pursue a passion for adroit problem solving within complex systems.
Heather E. Knowlan – Associate
Heather has over 14 years of professional finance, business and project management experience. Her specialized work history with contract compliance and project management provides Heather with an efficient eye for detail, planning and project execution. Heather is knowledgeable of Department of Defense (DoD) contracting and project performance. Ms. Knowlan’s education includes an Associate of Paralegal Studies degree and a Bachelor of Business Management degree with a focus on project management. She co-founded Federal Resource Solutions, LLC, specializing in comprehensive federal invoicing. Since 2002, Heather has been the Volunteer Co-Coordinator for the Alaska Run for Women, an annual Anchorage event that benefits breast cancer research and treatment.
Jennifer Boyd - Associate
Jennifer is a dedicated Executive Manager with over 20 years of extensive business organizational support experience across multiple industries. She is a “proven performer with a tremendous work ethic that ensures excellence in fast-paced environments”. Ms. Boyd’s career includes experience in Sales & Marketing Operations at I-Many, Inc., a software services company specializing in enterprise contract management solutions. She worked with the senior management team for Worldwide Merchant Services and Enterprise Merchant Services at Amazon.com prior to moving to Alaska where she was recruited as Executive Assistant to the Chairman, Denali Commission, U.S. Department of Commerce. She founded Boyd Executive Services, LLC, in 2006.
Eleanor (Ellie) Greenlund- Associate
Ellie has over 17 years of increasing experience in the Energy Industry. Her practical experience extends across Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Digital Business, Payroll and Human Resources functions within Alaska’s major producers and includes 8 years on the North Slope. Ellie is an experienced process facilitator in Rapid Process Improvement and Reliability Centered projects with exceptional Project Management skills. Mrs. Greenlund has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, coupled with extensive experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite; to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and MS Project. She is also a licensed private pilot.
Ryan Schowen - Associate
Ryan has served in a variety of corporate intelligence and information management positions. He has served as Senior Information Analyst, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst for a variety of clients, large and small. He holds degrees in Technical Communication and Complex Systems (M.A.) and Communication Research Methods (B.A.). He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology and Complex Systems. Ryan has received multiple awards for academic achievement and presented on a variety of topics at national and international conferences. He is an active member of the academic community and has published internationally on technology, language, and culture.
Aaron Schilling - Associate
Aaron has over 10 years in the education, non-profit, and energy sectors. His broad background includes federal grants administration, database/IT support and administration, document control, information management, and project management. In addition to general management and business requirements analysis, he was responsible for quality assurance of technical engineering project data and has implemented enterprise-level electronic document control systems at major energy firms. He has been instrumental in developing and coordinating data standards and procedures across multiple projects and for various stakeholders. He has also served as site administrator for multiple SharePoint implementations. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary Education with a minor in History.
